Launched in January 2014, Shotz7 is a mobile application and entertainment platform. It aims to be the premier showcase platform for short movies, short films, independent films and documentaries in India. This is being done by nurturing new talent and bringing them to the fore by tapping the long standing tradition of short films in the film Industry in India that has seen numerous accolades and awards being won on a global level. Shotz7 is trying to create a culture of promoting and viewing independent films and short films and entertain the masses by providing a new platform to understand and enjoy short films in India. It is acquiring short movies from various institutes and independent film makers and then showing them to subscribers of mobile phone service providers. As of now, all the subscribers of MTS over 9 circles across India are its active users.
